Kemp adds its application experience expertise to the Cloud Industry Forum

Kemp, the leader in powering multi-cloud application experience (AX), has become a member of the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF); the industry body established to promote trust, security, and transparency for the Cloud.

Since its foundation in 2000, Kemp has been a consistent leader in innovation with many industry firsts: High performance virtual load balancer/application delivery controller (ADC), application-centric software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) integrations, innovative per-app ADC deployment and licensing models, third-party ADC and load balancing analytics, and true platform ubiquity that can scale load balancing to support enterprises of every size and workload requirement.

Kemp operates on a global basis with corporate headquarters in New York City and regional headquarters located in Ireland and Singapore. Kemp also has an extensive presence across the UK, combined with other regional hubs located in Germany and Brazil, serving more than 25,000 customers spanning all vertical markets.

Established in 2009, the Cloud Industry Forum is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve standards and education in the Cloud industry. CIF provides transparency through certification to a Code of Practice to endorse credible providers of Cloud Services and, through its Cloud Adoption Roadmap assists end users in determining the core information necessary to enable them to adopt such services with confidence.

Alex Hilton, CEO of CIF, commented: “We are pleased to welcome Kemp as the latest member of the Cloud Industry Forum. The company’s commitment to offering industry leading cloud-based solutions is crystal clear, and we look forward to working with them to continue driving public confidence and a best practice approach within the cloud industry.”

Tim Swainson Cloud & Service Provider sales Manager of Kemp added “Kemp is delighted to become a member of CIF, it provides us with the opportunity to build on our commitment of being a trusted advisor on application experience in the cloud amongst our customer and partner network. There is a clear opportunity in the cloud provider market to drive a greater level of education about the benefits application delivery management can provide for their customers in terms of application flexibility, reliability, compliance and security. CIF has been instrumental in improving standards for the cloud industry, and we look forward to working with CIF and fellow members to continue improving standards and education.”
