David Terrar becomes new Chair of Cloud Industry Forum

Following the sad and untimely death of the Cloud Industry Forum Chair, Dr Richard Sykes we are pleased to announce that David Terrar will step in to the role

About David: 

David has been the Deputy Chair of the Cloud Industry Forum for the last 3 years and is Founder and CXO of strategy consultancy Agile Elephant.  He is a strategist, keynote speaker and influencer on cloud computing, digital transformation, social collaboration and ERP software.  At the start of his career he spent 9 years at IBM and then worked in senior management and director roles for companies like Interactive, CSI, Cyberaid, Brook Street Computers, DataWorks, Indus and CODA. He is listed on the Huffington Post, Cloudscreener and Rise lists of the top Cloud experts on twitter.  He is a regular speaker at events including keynoting at the CeBIT Social Business Arena, chairing London's Cloud Computing World Forum, ECC, BDA and CIO Transformation Live.  He has lectured on digital at Henley Business School and digital marketing and social media on Sup de Pub’s MBA course at INSEEC. 

David commented: “I am passionate about the shift to cloud computing, mobile devices and social media, and how these technologies can be deployed to transform business and the way these trends are changing the world of work.  It is an honour to pick up the Chair role from Richard who will be sadly missed.”
