Costs of Self Certification

Self-Certification by nature is carried out by participants using their own resources. However, participants must update their declarations each year to confirm continued conformance with the Code.

Participants must pay a nominal fee (excluding VAT and any other taxes) to assist in the administration and governance of the Code to ensure its integrity is maintained for the benefit of the industry and the market. Annual Self-Certification fees will be charged on the following basis at the time of submitting the declaration to CIF for approval to use the Certification Mark.

  • Organizations with turnover less than £250k: £200 per annum
  • Organizations with turnover £251k to £1m: £500 per annum
  • Organizations with turnover £1m to £10m: £1,000 per annum
  • Organizations with turnover £10m to £25m: £2,000 per annum
  • Organizations with turnover £25m to £100m: £3,500 per annum
  • Organizations with turnover above £100m: £8,000 per annum
